I've been trying to burn a video onto a DVD R disc, but before the burn even starts I either get
  • a warning that a software is accessing the disc burner
  • or the disc ejects.
I ran a SFC/SCANNOW command and no system errors have come up.
Im unsure what to do and how to detect any software that might be interfering with it?

It's the built in burner. It's worked before but that was months ago I used it. I was using the NTI media maker and the Windows movie maker to burn to a memorex DVD R disc.

I know the disc was fine because I took it to my desktop to burn and it worked fine. I kept getting the error "another software is accessing the burner or bad disc" before the burning process would even begin.

I also went to my default programs and reset the Windows Disc Image burner to default, but the burner would still not work after that.

Im convinced it's something to do with the computer. I dont think my burner has died out on me. The laptop is only a year old afterall and Ive only burned 3 times at the most.
