Hey guys.

Regarding the technical stuff, I run the game perfect at a good 150-200 fps. The only issue I experienced was running downstairs for the first time. It was very laggy at that point, but I think it was autosaving though.

I'm running game at full resolution and everything on ultra with no issues. My card is GTX 560 ti.

How is that possable? I have an gtx580 and i dont get above 65fps in skyrim on full settings?!

Hey guys.

So this is actually the first time I'm playing this game, and I must say that I'm perfectly fitted for it. It's very worth the wait, and the Elder Scroll's Saga's game: Oblivion should also be as epic as Skyrim shots.

There's a BETA-release on Nvidia series driver increasing some stuff below.

Yeah that's the driver that enables Ambient Occlusion, definately worth trying out. I loved the improved lighting, but I think it botched my AA. Still playing with settings...

I am downloading that driver now, how much of fps hit did you notice? And have you tried the 4gig patch for skyrim?

I didn't measure the FPS hit, but I could tell it was slightly stuttering more when outside with a ton of trees around, it wasn't a lot, if my card was a little better I wouldn't have noticed it. Inside/underground it was fine.

Not tried the 4g patch yet. Only added a small number of textures and none of the HUGE ones

Will probably hold off on that till after the wed patch which will probably break it and requre a new one anyway.

Oh, cool thank you, maybe with the official nvidia patch they will make the performance better too?

I've only found two masks so far

I have 3 thus far. I'll hint and say you can get one from a Deadric god.

It is pretty ballsey of them to publish that list, but I can tell you there is not a single piece of software you use on ANY os that doesn't have a list just as depressing. You would have to give up computing entirely

I don't see the issue with it as its just listing all the issues people have run into. Nothing wrong with that.

Now are all of them legit complaints? Will they all be fixed? I doubt that to both questions.

Not to be funny or.... skeptical, but unless you're running the game on uber ultra low, you must be the only person on the planet getting those frame rates :shock:

And sorry but disabling v-sync isn't going to give that massive a jump.

Anyway on a different note, i unlocked a shout which litterly lets you call on the thunderstorms and lightning! It take forever to recharge but is super cool.....but can and will kill your companion if he is doing that weak kneeling thing

Reagarding the 150-200 frames.... I have to seriously question that one. I haven't even heard anyone saying they're getting 75-100, let alone 150-200. so.....

As for shouts, haven't got that one yet, but I'm getting there. I need to make another visit to the monks.

Oh and I just had another CTD, which is why I'm posting here now. Seems the game decided I needed a break :sarc:

im getting good frames too, 60-70 +. i guess due to my resolution? having the biggest baddest card doesn't mean your gonna kill every single game.

Im trying out a stealth build and its pretty fun. sneaking and pick pocketing.

Anyway I'm building up my destruction skills. 4 more perks and 24 points and I'll have that area mastered

When it comes to sneak and pickpocketing I'm low on the totem poll

yeah i saw them, and really what can i say? i hope he's having fun with those frames. i normally would skip out on pickpocketing for a stealth build but its not that bad.

My hone handed sword perk and heavy armor is maxed out, and lock picking is half way....skyrim has allot of locked chests lol

Just finished off the "Battle for Whiterun" and after completing it all of a sudden the game starts acting weird - flashing and clipping when trying to re-enter. In the image below I'm stuck in the door leading to the city...



Also my companion Lydia is seems to be stuck in a continuous loop where she enters and leaves my home (her home) over and over again. Again, this in in Whiterun, and after completing the Battle for Whiterun



Anybody else have issues with this quest?

My FRAPS gave incorrect numbers. I'm on constant 65 fps. Sorry for making your blood boil for a while.

Sygnus21- Havent seen that before....Is it still doing it(after shutdown,restart and so on)

Everyone else- And for those who havent gotten the "call thunderstorms" shout, here is a short bio. You litterly call a thunderstorm, it starts to rain,dark clouds and lightning, when you do this in say a town...the lightning starts striking down random people...funny..yes,but your companion dies to, I added a screen shot of me doing it in Whiterun,and lydia got zapped ONCE,check her health after one hit (I tried to get more screen shots, but the shocks happen randomly all over th place). Oh and this shout makes every guard and some people around you hostile towards you(ecept your follower) and doing this in a cave wont work out so well... And it takes 300 seconds to recharge! But when it's done....well get it,go to a city with lots of guards...and watch the magic lol...IT IS AWESOME!!

Heh I love all the maybe not useful but fun to play with stuff. I did a really weird little quest that gives you a really wierd little staff which when used performs a completely random magic attack.

It's not too useful except it has shown me just how powerful summoning the undead is. Not because they are all that strong, but simply to draw fire! All these arch mages lately are kicking my you know what. I need to start taking a whipping boy (or girl) companion or work up my Conjuration skills. It's amazoing how fast an arch mage can take you down even with your legendary ebony armor
