Win 7 Ultimate x64 SP1

In another thread I explained how I had to do a complete reinstall of Win 7. This wasn't my first reinstall but I did have some issues. Now those issues are fixed and I'm getting to reinstall all of my software.

I have a little program that lives in the System Tray and lets me know when I have email. I've been using it for years and have never had a problem before. Even with my previous installations of Windows 7, I had no problems. Come to think of it, it didn't give me any issues until after I installed SP1. I think.

Anyway. . . . now when I start the program, I get that pesky message "Do you want to allow the following program . . . to make changes to the computer."

Any idea why I'm suddenly getting this message and any ideas on how to make it stop?

Thanks.

I like that the UAC provides an extra layer of security so I wouldn't disable it just for one program unless absolutely necessary. This tutorial (option four might be the best bet) will show you how to have a program run with full elevated rights and privileges.
