drive c memory zero

I am getting repeated pop ups saying either hard drive c is close to capacity or that it has zero% memory left what does this mean does it indicate a virus or malware? thank you

It could be either of those or both. Or you have download to much stuff on your HD. Or you have too many backup restore points. Or...............................?????????????????????????

OK. Your hard disk is completely full....there is no more free space on it. You will need to make space by:

1. Deleting any information you don't require and/or;
2. Uninstalling programs that are no longer needed.

I am trying to uninstall but the note says there is no space to install

after this would you be able to also help for the outlook corruption because of which emails cannot be sent or received

When finished, post a new screen capture image of the Disk Management screen.

Once you have recovered some space, only then you can tackle the Outlook problem.

yes but I want to remove acrobat which will release a lot of space but when I say uninstall the response is there is no space to install why is this

You need to atleast delete some unwanted files to the recycle bin, so that you have enough space to run any uninstall programs to remove those others that you want to get rid of.

yes I am trying to do that just deleted internet files, recycle other similar and the computer said that would give me 850 kb of space I did it checked disc management and it said I still have 0 space available I had earlier given a complete background to "all experts windows" but they could not respond if at all it might interest you, I have reproduced it but I know that you have other things to do

1. Win 7 dell inspiron 530 Kaspersky about ten days ago software detected malware held it and asked disposition I recommended discarding it incl. if necessary the affected file

2. about four days ago started getting repeated notices that memory in c drive was extremely low consulted various internet sites did all I could to discard unused programs but it seems to make negligible difference there is only miniscule regain of memory

3. contacted Kaspersky got a three page set of steps to follow have tried to follow what ever I could, found one Trojan deleted and discarded it

4. outlook 2007 is corrupted every place solution is use scan.pst.exe I can't find scan.pst.exe not even in microsoft 12 there is a 12 in it

no memory, no e-mails obviously first malware infection may well have been from a trash adult site

can I do anything now?

If you manage to delete some files to the recycle bin, then right click on the recycle bin & choose empty it. Then see if that frees up some space. We may have to delete some a few steps at a time & then empty again.

PS: If you have a larger sized USB flash drive, Cut & move some files to there for a temp solution.

How much RAM do you have?
If you have enough RAM, you might be able to reduce the Page File size to gain some space to work with.
Reducing the space used for Restore Points is another possibility.
