Hum now those Asus driverss my friend you just need to downlaod and install them form that site - I usually do the latest versions. BUT I am always exteremly wary of BIOS stuff mate just do the others.

As for your machine you just need to go into the Cont Pan > Admin tools > Device manager > click on the device (open it up) right click on Update drivers > it will open a window that you pick > search for on click it the you get a reply back to say if the device driver is up to date.

Thanks, I have downloaded the zip and extracted it to my desktop. I then went to the device manager and set it to search my desktop, but it said that the device was up to date, but I'm almost positive it's not.

Now I am not sure what you mean by searching the desktop you need to open up each and ever device in the Device Manager to check the driver. If it says it is up to date then it pretty well is. If you are not sure after get onto the manufacturers site and find any drivers there but that will take a lot of time.

As for the Asus drivers / updates see the pic but be CAREFUL with the BIOS ones!

Sorry, so to clarify, I download the update from their website (not the bios ones) and I extract the ZIP to my desktop, then I go to device manager and choose the second option "Browse my computer for driver software" then it asks what location to search in. Since I extracted the ZIP to my desktop, I choose there, but then it says that it's up to date. I strongly believe that it is not up to date though.

Right ROBO have got it now mate they are two different entities. Don't touch the downloaded Asus stuff yet just go do the Control Panel \ Device Manager things first.
Those are purely for the hardware you have on board and are checking with the Windows set up the Asus stuff is to follow.:)

Why do 't you use the Driver checker, it is a very light and powerful software , and can look for your update in the web and can install them automatically.

Okay, I tried a few programs, but they aren't picking up on some of the drivers that re out of date. I prefer to do it manually.

ROBO those drivers in Device Manager they are the ones that need searching automatically for not the ones that are on the computer (second box).

Would be good to watch this little tutorials before you do any thing else.

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/97061-driver-install-device-manager.html < watch for part two which is what I am on about - better use these first before the top ref

and maybe this one
Step by Step Guide to Updating Drivers in Windows 7

I am not trying to put a dampener on nuflia but please be careful with those driver search apps I used to use http://driverupdate.net/index_lp.php?gid=1070819436&aps=driver_updates but it is annoying and it uses the cloud which I am not a great fan off to be honest and other little "add ons".

Now if all these fail then it's down to the individual manufacturers but the top tutorials should fix the drivers:)

Let us know how you get on.
