Drivers for GeForce 2 MX?

my old pc have GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X .. where can i find the old 8x.xx drivers for it to work on windows 7?
vista ultimate have a compatibility driver for it when i'm using that os, but now seven uses vgapnp.sys for my card, i can't find a decent driver for it..please help

guru3d has a 8x.xx driver

I don't know if it is possible to still use vlc after installing those drivers

I had used that version but it not stable on my system (Windows 7). My pc restart when start run 3d game (Tomb Raider Anyversarry).

I just wanted to see what can you run Win7 reliably on, WXP ran great on this machine, its 10 yo and surprisingly W7 is jus a little slower than XP on it

My Card: GeForce2 MX 400

My PC crashed even when attempting to play the default Windows 7 game (Mahjong Titans). I did a driver rollback and installed 81.98 and it's working fine now.

Of course, Aero still doesn't work but the rest of the system is smooth (Visual Effects, Window drawing, etc)

Thanks to whoever suggested the original idea and thanks to Shimmy for suggesting to install using Device Manager.

and download Tornado drive. This drive must install manualy, becouse not contain setup program. This driver is compactible with DirectX 11, OpenGL 2...

How do I install the drivers 8xx.xx or 7x.xx. In wont install new ones, it says that I already have the best one.

Are you using Win 7 32-bit or 64-bit? I have 64-bit version and I can't get the drivers to work.

The Nvidia driver on GeForce II MX 400 conains a some errs, on Windows 7. Driver from Tornado is able working on Windows 7, My card is Tornado GeForce II MX 400/440 64MB DDR version of driver is 7x.xx WinXP Professional without digital signature. It's better install manualy from drivers configuration on card update driver, after must reboot. After login Windows working normaly without Glass Aero Style, but Direct and OpenGL are to be able working.I'm testing games GTA San Andreas - DirectX 11.1, Return to Castle Wolfenstein - OpenGL 1.2 ...

If You have 64bit version processor, so you have AGP8x or PCIex.., and GeForce II is very old graphics card to you pc. On 64bit version drivers not works. You try install 32bit version Win7.

I have PCI graphic gard. I was planing on using it as an media center computer for my tv and also as an backup computuer. I was trying to see if XBMC would work but I need an OpenGL for it to work.
I have Windows Ultimate version and I don't know how I can get 32bit version.

I will try to find something on the Tornado driver and see if that works. Thanks for the help.

You'll never have Aero with that card and lucky if it works at all. Upgrade definitely needed.

Thank you, guys, very much! I successfully installed Nvidia forceware 81.98 on my Geforce 2 MX 400. I didn't test aero, but it is much, much better than 4 bits)
