Drivers for new install W7 - silly quesitons

Ok, apologies in advance for this but I would really appreciate a little guidance on drivers following a fresh install of W7.

So following a clean W7 install I only had one ! in device manager for my Xonar DX soundcard. I d/l the 64 bit W7 driver from Asus and its now works fine. No more !'s

i would like to ensure that I have all the right drivers for all the right bits but I really dont know how far to take this. So here is my silly list. I wonder if people can advise me whether to bother or not:

Bios (last updated 2.5 years ago)
Asus P5Q-E mobo drivers
Sata II HDD's dont require drivers right? W7 default drivers just fine?
Monitor drivers? i have a 24" hazro. No idea if i need drivers. Seems fine.
Have a Logitech G11 keyboard - havent installed anything yet
have a Logitech G9 laser mouse - havent installed anything

havent installed any drivers for my printer yet - but will
Running latests drivers for my Nvidia card
Sound Card is sorted

Sorry for the dopey questions. Have I forgotten anything?

If it aint broke dont fix it , If you are having any graphic problems ,you may want to install the monitor drivers but if everything is running OK and you are happy with it leave well alone

here is a list of drivers for that motherboard, including BIOS updates. you can decide which, if any, you need. i would recommend at least the SATA drivers. if you do the B
IOS update, you should only have to install the very latest, not all of them.

if there is a monitor driver,installing it would tell windows what it is capable of. color depth, refresh rate, etc.

I agree with all the above posts. I would just like to add for you to check in device manager under monitor and see if it has recognized your monitor. or if it's listed as PNP. Yet as long as you have it's native resolution and refresh rate listed in Nvidia control panel then you should be good to go.

As far as the bios update goes yours is a few years old so one could be beneficial, just read the release notes on the newer bios to see if they address any fixes or support newer CPU's or at least have something beneficial to offer in the way if support or stability for your system. otherwise like pebbly said if it ain't broke don''t fix it.

That is unless your very comfortable doing a bios flash then having the latest bios would be a good idea.
If your not familiar with flashing a bios then make sure you have read and understand fully how to go about it, since if done wrong can render your system useless. So don't hesitate to ask any question about it.
