Trying to convert an avi file into a dvd using windows dvd maker.

If I leave the settings at 4:3 That's what I get. I'm after 16:9.

So I change the settings to 16:9 & I still get 4:3.

Then I go into the filters & disable all of them. Still get 4:3.

Here's a shot of the filters that dvd maker picks up. Oh & if I use dvd flick it comes out 16:9 but the video & audio are out of sync.

Any ideas?

1. Are all you drives updated from Manufactures sites?
2. Tried another free software for dvd making?
