Eliminate all Browsers that are 'default browsers'

I do not like having any browser as my default browser. I use Firefox, Opera, and Chrome and sometimes have 2 browsers loaded concomitantly. I mistakenly made Chrome my default browser, how do I reverse this process. I removed Chrome via the control panel but when I reinstalled it it was still set as the default browser. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you. /* Philip */

Try the tutorials below and see if it helps. I'm not sure if you can stop one browser or another from being the default but you can untick "Use as Default Browser" in both Firefox and Opera settings
