EMET from Microsoft

Hi all

Can anyone explain what Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit does, in REALLLLLY simple language? Is it something that I want to add?

I am using Windows 7 with Free Avast and Pro SUPERAntiSpyware. Thanks.

No this is not something you want to add to your home PC. This is for Enterprise use in for example Hospital, Airport where the software is protected and locked up tighter than a drum. Installing this without knowing what you are doing will mess up your system and could make it unusable.

This may help, but since you have Avast and others already installed, you might skip EMET to avoid possible conflicts between them.
