Hello,

I recently downloaded SetteMaxer from SetteMaxer for Windows 7 in an attempt to optimize win7, but in the process it disabled Task Scheduler. I now wants to defrag my hard drive, but windows defrag won't run with task scheduler disabled.... I tried to manually turn task scheduler back on using the services menu but all options to start task scheduler is grayed out.... So can someone help me out? seems like i might have to edit the registry, but I have no clue what keys to look for... Thanks, any help is appreciated!

I'm runing Windows 7 64bit.

Hello Dawgz,

You might be able to do a System Restore using a restore point dated before you downloaded and installed SetteMaxer to see if that may fix it for you.

Hope this helps,
Shawn
