Hello, is my first post here, so excuse me if I don't posted well, although I looked interested me, but I don't have found. :o
So my problem, I have a 500GB hard drive, with 2 partitions, the first is Windows7 Enterprise x64 operating system, and on the 2nd partition I have pictures, movies, etc.
I would like if possible, tell me how to do to increase partition C with 25GB without losing data from partition D.
I put a screen shot to see how we partitions and free space remaining.
Thank you very much.

You may be able to do this through Disk Management in Windows.

Or you may have to use a program such as Partition Wizard.

Please post a screen shot of your Disk Management screen.

If you try and use Disk Management to shrink your D drive, it will only shrink from the right, which is no good to you.

However, as ignatzatsonic rightly points out, Partition Wizard will do the job for you.

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/93322-partition-wizard-use-bootable-cd.html

Download the PW ISO and burn it to a blank disc then boot into it.

ImgBurn is an excellent tool for this job.

http://www.imgburn.com/

Shrink your D drive from the left by the amount you want, and then extend your C drive to take up the resultant unallocated space.

Apply your changes then boot back into Windows.

Any data on the D drive should be unaffected, but it will slow down the shrink operation, so you may want to back it up to an external source before you start - the choice is yours.

I don't want to reinstall the operating system on C.
So I just want to increase partition C to partition D decrease, while my data remain untouched and operating system.

Just use the procedure I've given you and you'll be fine without any need to reinstall Windows. You should suffer no data loss, but back it up - just in case.

Finally, I solved the problem.
I seized the opportunity and I personally made a new partition.
We put 2 pics of what I did.
I tried Acronis, free version and have a little setup, so I downloaded and installed EASEUS which I solved the problem.
Thank you very much, for help.

But now I have a new problem.
After we enlarged and reduced partitions and I made a new one, I found a problem.
If I move a window on the desktop, it remains in place, moving just the outline, and if I take finger off the mouse, click on it recovers.
Before not do this, I put a picture with this problem.

If there are some problems with grammar, please excuse me, I can handle a little harder with English.

Yesterday, not having what, I make a clean reinstall of the operating system that already had 2 years (over 10 days), so I solved the problem, if one may say.
In these 2 years, I don't had no problem whatsoever, apart from the post here.
Problem solved, thank you very much.

Pleased to hear it, Ion, and thanks for posting back.

I realise that English isn't your first language, but you made the effort and you did well. :)

After all, you're conversant in two languages, I've only got my head round one!
