A process highlighted in red means that the process is exiting/ending. If you do not click on the button named "OK" in the window shown in the OP, then whatever process that is generating that window should not be exiting/ending.

So now we need to figure out what is making Thunderbird do this.

Or it may just be an error within Thunderbird :-(

Right, tried performing the 'clean startup' but the error remains? I will try the next section to see if I can diagnose the issue.

Apologies for the delay in getting back. I was waiting for Mozilla tech to get back. They asked me to run Thunderbird in Safe Mode but, sadly the issue still exists.

Then if Thunderbird Forum can offer nothing else perhaps it might be worth thinking about a different email program. How many email accounts have you got on Thunderbird? How about trying Windows Live Mail?

Just read through this thread again and see that in an earlier post you said:
"Actually I have found it is happening with any program I use to bring-in graphics?"
So does this error mesage come up when you are not using Thunderbird? What do you mean "Bring-in graphics?"

Ah sorry, by bringing in graphics I mean opening graphics, i.e. for emailing them etc.

Oh, just ran a full Malware Bytes scan but this hasn't solved the issue either.
