Error trying to update windows

I keep getting a error everytime I am tring to update my windows software. Saying that it cant not check for updates because the service is not runinng. To restart the computer. I have tried doing the restart and im still not able to update it.

I am not sure what kind of logs he is asking for?

The troubleshooter would have appeared on your desktop.
it would have shown what was fixed / what was not. indicated by either tick/X.
there may also have been a details option with a down arrow, click on it.

rerun it again and post both the first screen and the details if available.

the above is the 1st request and the 2nd?? instruction.

they look OK, have a look at post 2, by Thrashzone, in this thread, follow the instuctions
PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY
Windows Update will not update and I've tried multiple fixes
