Got the same exact issue. Error: WindowsUpdate_80242009 for KB2810009. Installing works like a charm, but wupdate doesn't register the patch has been manually installed and keeps staging it for install.
Reading up on error indicates there is an error in the patch meta-data. I just hid the update for now and plan to retry in a few Days again deinstalling my manually installed KB2810009 and retry from winupdate hoping MS have fixed the error (probably stems from there side as they have claimed other patches from other suppliers with the error message is the suppliers fault :/ )
