System Restore to before you installed the questionable program, if necessary from Safe Mode or System Recovery Options

Then I would run the malware and spyware scans, check browser for add-ons and Control Panel for unwanted programs, establish a Clean Boot from Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7.

If you stick only with the same tools and methods mentioned in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 you will keep a perfect install for as long as you do. You may want to consider doing one if you haven't gotten a perfect install yet.

SAS (Superantispyware) has a tool to uninstall undesirable programs. I would try that.

DO NOT TURN YOUR PC OFF WHILE SYSTEM RESTORE IS RUNNING!! You will brick your system, and end up having to re-install your OS!

Is the program gone? Check in All Programs, Control Panel>Programs and browser Add-Ons for anything at all that looks like it doesn't belong. You want no add-ons except Flash player and maybe a Reader, only the stable Google search from the built-in Search or Omni box.

Type System Restore in Start Search box, look at All Restore Points. Was it restored? Do you see a restore point before you installed the crap? I would run it.

Then work through the other steps we gave you earlier.
