Explorer.exe application error

I log into my laptop, get this message, click ok and get a black

Prior to this, it did the scan thing with a bunch of files. One time it allowed me to use safe mode, but there wasn't any router connectivity.

So, I get the black screen every time. Please help, advice?? It doesn't let me do anything with the black screen

If you cant boot into safemode run
Use option 2
System File Checker

How do I do this?? Once I get the black screen it doesn't allow me to do anything.

Follow the link posted below to run WinPE/RE and open a command prompt.

You can use you're install CD to boot into Windows RE.
