My Toshiba P500 Satellite has a 500GB hard drive divided in two in two partitions. Since changing my ITunes folder to that secondary drive, I have been able to sync my phone twice. A week ago that second drive just disappeared from explorer. Screen shots below

All I see is a 10.48GB partition that does not have a drive letter assigned. Have you tried assigning a drive letter via right click?

No. Actually to begin with, I had Drive C=250GB, Drive D=250GB showing under "Hard disk drives" and the actual Drive D as it is called right now, was named Drive F.
I had Drive C closed to full, so the option to empty free space was to allocate some files to the other partition (at the time Drive D).
I figured what was taking the most space was the ITunes folder, so I moved all those files that were on Drive C to what was at the time Drive D, and all of the sudden I had almost 50GB free of 250 GB on Drive C, and about 190GB free of 250GB on Drive D.
I thought I was all set, synced my IPhone twice, everything was perfect.
A week ago I tried syncing my phone and when trying to open ITunes, it said the folder for it was not there.
Opened up "My Computer" and found out the second partition was not there anymore and that my Drive C is 286GB now
I'm puzzled.
