Hi, I have recently had my Seagate Barracuda Green 2Tb hard drive fail. It comes up with the error saying it needs to be formatted before use. I have tried scanning for errors through windows explorer, at first it started scanning but then stopped and said the dive is unreadable. Now I can't even right-click on the drive, it crashed windows explorer if I do. I have searched through the forums a bit and there seems to be a few ways to try to recover this, and I don't want to go the wrong way and completely lose everything... I have some stuff on that drive which is irreplaceable.
I have tied using Seatools for windows, the scan did nothing after 3 hours.. was still on 0%, and now it can't even find the drive
I tried recover my files v5, but is stuck on a screen saying "scanning for logical drive G:"
Where should I go from here?

Ok the scan is running... but everything is going to lost files, with jumbled numbers for file names. I'm guessing this could mean the MFT is corrupt?
