I can hear the drive running, A sound is made when i plug in the device, and I am able to eject it, but the drive does not show up in "My Computer". I know the drive is not faulty, and I know the adapter is working too. This is a IDE to USB adapter in a Seagate drive. The drive is ST316021 as shown in the photos below. I can't get it to show up in my computer. All I can think is maybe virtual clonedrive is interfering with the auto-assigned drive number? C:/D: Is my partioned original drive, F: is a different bare drive I have internally. E: is cd-rom and K: is virtual bluray. The seagate is missing for some reason.
What can I try?
