External HD

I have 2 external drives and they no longer appear when I right click on Computer. They have done in the past and were identified as F and I . Can anyone help please?

Could you give some more information before we try to troubleshoot.
What kind are your external hard drives as in manufacturer, model and capacity?
Has something happened the last time you were using them? A power surge, copying of really large files at once etc.?
Would you connect your drives and post an image of Computer management, where the partitions, capacity and health of the drives can be seen?
For starters you could try the following:
- try connecting the drives to your PC with a different USB cable
- connect another external device, other than these two drives, with another cable and see if it works; point is to rule out USB/motherboard problems
- try the drives on another computer, do they work then
- see if you have all the latest updates, drivers (USB especially) and firmware (the drives)
