“Failed to connect to windows service” already tried guides online

Good morning,
I’m writing here because it has been days since this problem appeared. I already tried all the guides on the web but even if sometimes they solve the problem it’s just temporarily. Today I still have this issue and I can’t even momentarily solve it anymore. (I see the error message and the theme is like windows 2000, I’ve only one account and I’m the administrator)

Thank you in advance for your help and excuse me for my bad English.

David

Edit:
I tried to uninstall Karspersky and it worked both times but the problem reappeared when I installed it back

I hate to say it, but don't use Karspersky if that's the source of the issue. Plus, I read they were in the business of spying for the Russians or something.

If you're not apt to browse shady websites, then do what I do. Use Sandboxie for your browser and scan ALL downloads at VirusTotal.

I don't even use an anti-virus and I have never gotten malware. The thing with anti-virus software is it will not detect polymorphic malware since anti-virus software is definition based. Much like how the human body works with real viruses. I strongly believe in a sandbox approach and scanning all downloads at VirusTotal.

Since you live in Italy, my solidarity to you and your country during this time. By Summer it should be mostly gone. Pandemics only last three months. Bad for you and bad for us - bad for the world and the economy as a whole.

The other thing you should do is do periodic clones of your computer to an external hard drive. I also do this. Should disaster strike I have a clone that I can clone back and it will be like in large part nothing happened.
