I recently had to do a factory reset of my hp pavilion dv7-4165dx laptop. Before the reset, it was connected to an LG TV as my main display. It looked great and the entire screen was filled. Now, even after I updated the driver, I have unfilled edges on the display. How can I fix this problem? I checked my HDMI connections and I updated the ATI Radeon driver to the latest version and I still have the problem... Please help.

--try changing the resolution to a very low res setting--then change it back to where you normally have it set--

Try going into the underscan option in Catalyst Control Center. I haven't used ATI for a while so I can't remember exactly which menu it's in. If you put it to 0%, it should work. Also, on you LCD TV, their should be an option on your remote to display in full screen mode.

Good luck.

Well, before I got the tv, I had updated the driver and when I connected them everything was fine and the entire display on the tv was filled automatically and I didn't have to change anything. Only which display was the main one. But now it's completely different and I have these edges that are driving me crazy. But I'll try the undrscan and full screen suggestions, and the lower res back to high as well. Any other suggestions and tips are welcome.
