Firefox 4.0b12pre updates

Hi, I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and using Minefield nightly builds, also x64. Is anyone else having a problem with Minefield updating properly? I need to go and download the full installer each time as the updater complains that Firefox is running and it can't update. Firefox is not running, however.

No. Works OK here. I'm using FirefoxPortableNightly to load the beta. Win7.64.

Well dang. It's not a deal breaker, I just have to download the full installer. It was working until about 5 days ago. I disabled all addons, started Minefield in safe mode but no love. If anyone has any ideas please post. IE9 seems so good now I may not fuss with Firefox.

Hmmm, your running IE9 too. Maybe it is messing with your Firefox install. Tricky devils

Well, I just installed IE9 today and the Firefox problem started about a week ago so I doubt they're connected. Thanks for the reply. Now if I could figure out how to make the 64-bit IE the default browser my day would be complete.
