How to Disable Favicons in Mozilla Firefox​

This tutorial will show you how to disable Favicons in Mozilla Firefox.

   Note

This is the Favicon to Seven Forums

,so with this tutorial you'll be able to remove it from tab

This can be done in just minute,so let's start.

1. Start Mozilla Firefox,and in search bar wrote: about:config.

If you got a warning, just click I'll be carefull,I promise !

2.In Filter type: browser.chrome
You'll see a something like this

Double click on this two preferences to change the values from true to false.

browser.chrome.favicons

browser.chrome.site_icons

Restart Firefox,and now Favicon is not here anymore!

Nice work pal Well, I will try it, but I like zen00's idea better, to have favicons but not the text :sarc:

EDIT : Once I used an addon called iFox metal with a mac like customization .... it made the favicons totally removed . You may try such an idea too !
