FireFox V42, No Issues So Far...

Just updated FF to v42 and see no issue yet. The shield is up in the URL bar for every site I've been on. Obviously not an issue here.

I have noticed that v42's new tracking protection/blocking functions seem to work in concert with Ghostery. If Ghostery is not blocking (i.e. paused) FF will turn on the tracking blocking shield if the web site is getting tracking cookies, or other trackers. If Ghostery is catching all of them, FF turns the shield off. If Ghostery is missing one or more trackers, FF will turn the shield back on. Just thought for those of you that really like your web browsing to be more private.

Well thanks for the info. Currently I sometimes use Firefox Portable but actually Prefer Cyberfox as it is a 64bit browser. In any case from your comments maybe you might be interested in ConfigFox.

Works with Firefox, PaleMoon, Waterfox, Cyberfox etc.

For non default profiles - choose File> Open - then navigate to the profile.
