This has been so frustrating. When I open a folder (usually a desktop folder) after maybe 5-10 minutes the desktop flashs (icons reload) and the folder closes without warning. Very annoying having to reopen time after time while I'm working with the contents in the folder. I have tried virus scans, reset folder options and several other 'suggestions' without any success. Everything else works fine i.e. browser and programs. This has been going on for about 2 weeks. Any ideas anyone?

Thanks in advance.
