Folder Icon Changing

Hi,

I have a custom icon for my music folder, in which if I open a song in WMP, the icon of the folder is changed to a thumbnail of the album cover for that song. How can I prevent this? I am tired of changing my icon back over and over again!

Post a screenshot of the folder and icon that changes. And how are you changing the icon.

Hi, Jerry,

Thank you for your reply, but never mind. I fixed the problem by unchecking "Update music files by retrieving media info from the Internet" in the privacy tab of the options window in Windows Media Player.
