Solved folder wont delete

so i have a folder with what looks like 8 pictures in it.
if i click delete i get the folder contains items whose names are too long for the recycle bin etc
if i click to rename them ive no option to rename them
ive tried file assassin which finds an empty folder
if i go through cmd it doesnt find the folder
any help appreciated

Hold your shift key down while hitting delete. This will do a permanent delete, bypassing the recycle bin.

Do you have any kind of synchronization program?
Is the folder on your computer or on the network?
What is the folder path?

i managed to do it by restarting safe mode and renaming the folder and deleting it
