Stop tempting me boo....beside it has all my cookie crumbs on it, porn sites, dirty text messages to you, Derek's home phone number, Carl's typing and spelling software and Topper's dung in the packaging. So I would want a different one!:roflmao::roflmao:

I love having a laptop around, it just makes it easy to get work done wherever I happen to be. I leave my desktop in its nook, and have a laptop in a magazine rack thing from the 50's next to my couch

The ball is back in my court again. The pot has just been sweetened.

Just talked to the Electronic Mgr. and went over the scenario of the bate and switch with one of his employees.
He went to the computer and checked it and took the $ amount down so I said how about
$350 + the Sam's 3 year warranty thrown in. I told him to check from his side as to WHY it was returned or if it had been opened for repair.
HP has no record of them having it returned to them. HP warranty runs out May 2011 then Sam's club would kick in.

So my friends, what would you do?

That's quite a deal, sounds like they want you to have it. Was anything wrong with it while you had it?

If they bite on $350, plus the 3 year warranty...I say go for it. If HP has no record of it, most likely it was a purchased as new, and returned before opening...much like some of the things found in Dell's Outlet store.

Nothing was wrong while I had it. Ran a bunch of tests and loaded some of my stuff like Malware and MSE. Was lacking all Windows updates and installed all of them at once to see if it hung up anywhere. Loaded all of them without any problems.
