Solved Forcing icon to be first in taskbar

Is there any way to force an icon to be first in the taskbar? I've got one that might show up in different places in the taskbar, but would like to make it first so it's easier to find.

Is this for a program that is running or for one you would like to be able to get to quickly? If it is for running programs, unless they are pinned to the taskbar prior to running I don't think you can make them be forced in any position. For example I like to have the snipping tool pinned next to the Win Orb so I can get to it to take snippets. It is not running but is easily accessible and when running it is in that position all the time. I say find the exe in the program files menu or program files x86 depending the right click and pin to start menu. once pinned drag it to where you want it and it will stay there running or not.

If this is for Notification Icons you can force it to always show but it will only be available while running. you can drag and rearrange those icons and they will most times load to those positions but if the don't load on startup the will almost always get relegated further away from the clock. Right click on the task bar and choose properties then where it says notification area choose customize. Uncheck the show all box the choose the behavior you would like.

It's actually for the notification area. I didn't realize you could actually drag and drop them. That worked.
