Hi!
I was checking my updates, and found KB974431 a reliability update? Had failed
I tried to follow the instructions here:
How do I work around error 800F0902?
So I uninstalled it, looked for the reset tool in step four, and became frustrated when the "this does not apply to your version of windows" box showed at the top of the page because I can never find the page that is supposed to apply.
"Why doesn't MS have a click-able link to my version" instead of just going to win 7 help?
I never did use the "readiness tool". I went back to windows update, and preformed an automatic check for updates.
It found I needed KB974431, and this time it installed successfully, but I still have it listed as failed also.
Thank you, Anak....aka...Steve

- Would it hurt to leave it that way or should I run the "reset tool"?
- And should I find, and run the "readiness tool"?
Thank you, Anak....aka...Steve
