The error happens after you install IE11.
Fox-it cannot properly display its start up page.
You can turn off the displaying of that start up page.
I don't have fox-it installed anywhere right now...

I installed Fox-It into the exact same frozen virtual machine and today I did not get the error. This is because the contents of the start up page can change from day to day, The content is a web page being shown via IE11 inside the start up page. It is best to turn that page off:
