Hi, I've been having this problem for quite a while now but I didn't pay too much attention as I don't play games a much. Back when I had Vista Home Premium all the games I had played worked like a charm. Until now that I have Windows 7 Home Premium it all went down hill. The games I played worked fine until a few weeks later. My screen went from smooth game play to a photo booth. My screen was as if it was taking pictures every 5 seconds and the animation would change dramatically. Besides this problem, everything else is working fine. I can watch videos that are 2hours long in fine quality so I doubt its my internet. Sorry for the LONG story but I really would like to fix this problem. Windows 7 has really improved but for gaming its terrible for me as it causes my computer to run like a snail.

My computer specs are:

Processor: AMD Phenom 8450 Triple-Core Processor 2.10GHz
RAM: 6.00GB (5.75 GB Usable)
System Type: 64-bit Operating System
GFX Card: NVIDIA GeFORCE 9100
Brand of PC: HP

I wish for step by step help as I am not really experience in fixing computers.

Also could you explain this?
Kill McAffee - use a removal too if available and switch to Microsoft Security Essentials. Then use HWInfo32 to monitor and post your temps - is this a laptop or desktop? Uninstall any system cleaners or similar performance apps.

Im not really experienced when to comes to this stuff =(

Hi,

First go back into your control panel and fill in your system specs... your complete system specs... then list the things you've already done.

Mc Afee is an anti virus application that's heavy, bloated and difficult to remove. Killing it, in this case, just means getting rid of it.

Sounds like my post - however what games are you trying to play? Your specs are not exactly very high. Additional info is in the troubleshooting guide in my sig - go through it.
