Free space taking over HD

Mitch these same steps failed when done the other night for some reason.

I'd use Undo button back to the first step and apply. Then post screenshot after restart.

May not even have to restart since it's not Win7 in these first steps.

If you want to take the chance it will fail again, apply all.

btw i just click undo until i got to step one

Looks fine , now do the second step.

Rt click D and select Modify>set as Primary>Apply.

Remember to resize the 30gb Backup against the right side this time.

the free space should be on the left only

Click in the middle of your 29.9 gb partition and slide it up tight against the right wall. OK ,apply

Now right click C: Win7 >Resize, slide right grey border all the way over up against the D:Backup partition. OK

Have a look in Disk Management and check it has been properly updated.

Restart after that is a good idea.
