Happens when I play games or watch videos, around once a week, I've looked in event viewer and haven't found anything relevant. Have to cut off power and reboot. Computer runs cool, NVIDIA GeForce experience is updating all my drivers. View attachment GREENBEAST-PC-Mon_03_17_2014_131023_66.zip

Blue screen error(hour later)

Got this error message, got it before but this is only the 2nd or 3rd time I've received it.

"A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer

A clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor within the allocated time interval..."

generally the freezing has been happening more when I play Dota 2 on steam, but sometimes while watching videos on google chrome such as youtube or gamespot.

Welcome to the forum duggy. I have seen this before and in my case the fix was to reinstall the gpu drivers. First you must remove all traces of the existing video drivers from your system. Then you can to a fresh install of the latest driver package for your particular video card.

1) Remove driver using add/remove programs
2) Reboot into safe mode
3) Use driver sweeper to remove left over ATI driver files
4) Reboot into regular mode
5) Install updated driver

Alright so I uninstalled a program called daemon tools lite, because I heard it can cause this issue, as well as reinstalled my updated graphics driver. Because the issue only happens around once a week, sometimes more sometimes less, I'm not going to have any idea if this problem is going to be fixed for at least 2 weeks.

Thanks for your help.

Daemon tools is known as a cause for BSOD's, so that might have been the source of the issue.

Don't use snake oil products that claim to speed up your pc or registry cleaners.
