Frequent and random freeze and shutdown

Hi I've been experiencing very frequent freezes then shutdown without BSOD. The mouse and running applications just freeze, and if I have audio on, the sound will crash into noise, then a few seconds later, the PC shuts down.
I thought it maybe overheating but I put a large fan directly on the mobo, and the temp is around 50-60


the components are rather recent, well at least the computer shop replaced most components recently, but I don't know how long they've been sitting on the shelf
only the hard drive is older.

it can happen 4-5 times a day, or I can go a day or 2 without it happening. I usually leave the PC on all the time.

You might want to check if something any of the hardware components are overheating too much. For monitoring the heat/celsius of the system, use Speccy or HWinfo:

Speccy is reporting a temperature of 97 degrees and it's red, should I be concerned?

Under System Manufacturer/Model Number add whether it is a desktop or laptop and whether self built.

thanks, I added my system specs.
I instaleld the system health utility from Asus, maker of the motherboard, and it's reporting different temperatures , how is that possible?

EDIT: installed HW monitor and it's reporting 97 for the processor so I guess that's correct.
I don't know what the lower temperature being reported corresponds to. It's listed undewr CPUTIN in HW monitor

I ended up buying a new computer case and a new processor cooler and the temperatures are down to around 45-50 c for now.
