Hi. i just want to ask for help on how to solve random blue screen of deaths on my newly purchased netbook.
if i'm not mistaken it is caused by these drivers: ntoskrnl.exe and ntfs.sys ; i don't know to fix the problem.
i've already brought it back where i purchased it and they sent it on repair but when i start it up again, it crashed again
as soon as i finished the set up so i tried to solve the problem by installing RegClean Pro and on 1st scan it fixed
almost 180 errors. i thought i finally solved the problem because i was able to use my netbook for almost 2 hours without
the BSOD but when i start it up after more than 24hrs of being shut down, it crashed again. i hope you can help me solve this
problem, it's very annoying and frustrating!!!!

I have attached the dump files and other things as instructed.. hope to hear from you soon!! Thanks in advance!!!

P.s. after some observation,, bsods happen a few times only after i've just started up my computer but after using it for a while it never crashed again until i shut it down but it crashes again when i used it the next day....

my netbook is Windows 7 x64
it is the original installed OS on the system
it's OEM...(finally get what it means...hehe)
and my netbook is newly purchased...it's only been a month since i bought it..

Various different errors, mostly false positive fault processes and some memory corruption. This is either driver related (we don't know yet) or memory related.

Three tests I'd like you to run:
Chkdsk:

  1. Open the "Computer" window
  2. Right-click on the drive in question
  3. Select the "Tools" tab
  4. In the Error-checking area, click <Check Now>.

Memtest:

Read the following to test your memory for errors.

Driver Verifier:

Read the following
to enable Driver Verifier. Use Driver Second if Memtest finds nothing, as it's likely a software / driver issue, we just aren't being told what it is, and hopefully Driver Verifier will than force a crash if it finds the violating driver.

KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (1e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Arguments:
Arg1: ffffffffc000001d, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: fffff80001aaeea6, The address that the exception occurred at
Arg3: 0000000000000000, Parameter 0 of the exception
Arg4: fffff70001080400, Parameter 1 of the exception

If you see NtfsExceptionFilter on the stack then the 2nd and 3rd
parameters are the exception record and context record. Do a .cxr
on the 3rd parameter and then kb to obtain a more informative stack
    trace.

thanks for the reply...i've tried to run the chkdsk twice but haven't finished it because it keeps crashing...i'll try it again and tell you the result later....

oh and i noticed that the hard disk space keeps decreasing even if i don't do much....it already decreased by 3gb since i last installed something... do you perhaps know the reason why is that happening???

Alright, since errors turned up in Chkdsk, move onto Memtest and then Driver Verifier. Do note, before using Driver Verifier, please setup a system restore point in case you're unable to access Windows after enabling Driver Verifier, even after clearing settings in Safe Mode.

I do not know, I cannot read Italian, haha!

And no, it's not possible to BSOD during Memtest as Memtest does not run in Windows. You can freeze in Memtest if your memory is bad, but most times it just displays errors. Like I said, let it run for at least 6-7 passes! That will be a few hours.

Hi,

If your system crashed after enabling Driver Verifier, disable it as shown in the guide I have posted earlier. If you cannot get into Windows, boot into Safe Mode and disable it there.

Once you've disabled it, you'll want to attach the dump file Driver Verifier has generated. It'll be the most recent dump file, so go ahead and attach it :)
