Solved get around permissions

I'm using Win 7 Pro 64 bit and I have some folders I never use, never intend to use. It is my computer and mine alone so I don't need any warnings about how I might mess up someone else's files. I have read all the dire warnings many times and if I trash my computer no one else is going to be hurt in any way.
All the permissions crap drives me crazy. No matter how hard I try to take ownership, no matter if I try to delete from Safe Mode, Windows still thinks it owns my computer.
I know someone will want to know what kind of folders I'm trying to delete, so to give a couple examples: Games. I have never played a computer game and never plan to. No one else ever uses my computer so I have no use for games, but I can't get rid of them. Yes, I know they are not hurting anything, but if I want them gone I should be able to get rid of them.
There are several folders in Office Outlook I have no need for and never will have a need for, but I can't delete them or merge them or even move them where they would be less bothersome.
I suppose all this protection from ourselves is useful to some people in some situations, but for a hermit like me it's just a PITA.
Now for the real question: How can I stop all the "Permissions" garbage from interfering with so much of what I want to do with my computer? I have already turned the UAC slider all the way down. Didn't really help. And, by the way, I am the administrator, with only one account. So whether it's safe or not I should have full control at all times. But some arrogant, rock headed, programmers apparently thought that should never happen

Hi meamjw.

I'm not exactly sure what your problem is but I have found some tutorials you could read through with large amount of information on permission.
I'm no expert of any kind so I use tutorials myself.

Are you saying that when you try to delete folders you get a message saying you don't have permission to do so?

And you can always format the drive and show Windows who's the boss :devil:

Can't you turn "Games" off in the Windows Features section?

I'm in LM17.1 at the moment so I can't check.

Windows 7 does come with the installed games and yes they can be turned off in the Windows Feature section but they are still their.
If you remove them I doubt you will ever get a clean sfc /scannow.

I haven't yet had time to try all the info you gave me but it is by far the most complete coverage of the Permissions briar patch I have encountered. I plan to print all of it so I can repeatedly study it (don't have a very good memory). Thanks a bunch for taking the time to post so much good info.
