Hello guys,

First of all I searched all over the internet and couldn't find a fix or a solution. I was using Magix 2017 Premium Edition for a while but I had some issues on my Windows. So I decided to re-set it (formatting).
I reset my pc with a Windows 7 x64 Ultimate version CD and downloaded, installed my Magix again. When I open it, I wait a little bit on the splash screen, after that I recieve a blue screen. I only remember these things,
0x03b and ksthunk.sys| I updated all the drivers in my pc and installed every single audio driver to fix it (kinda dumb but I had nothing to do). So I downloaded another DAW, which is Ableton Live 10 Suite, I can open the program but after a couple minutes, it gives another BSOD as Magix. Ableton says there is a problem with the aeaudio.sys file. Well I don't get any BSODs in other .exe files, games, music players but these DAWs are always give me BSODs. Is there anything that I can do? (By the way there is no hardware problem because before resetting my pc to Win7, I was already using Magix and getting no BSODs. Also it was already Win7 x64 before.)

I have a recording studio with BandLab Cakewalk Sonar and Studio One 3.

Ksthunk.sys is a windows driver of some sorts. Could be software or hardware.

Same way with aeaudio.sys.

Since you did a Win 7 reinstall, I would suspect either a hardware device driver is missing or the Win 7 install is corrupted. First thought install (or reinstall) the Intel motherboard chipset drivers.

If your system specs are correct, it looks like an old PC and may not even be fully Win 7 compatible. Ultimate 64 bit would be my guess as the problem. With only 4 GB of Memory you should not be using the 64 bit version. The 64 bit uses more of the available memory than the 32 bit and the real advantage of a 64 bit OS is it can address (use) more than 4GB of RAM.

Thanks Fireberd for advices..

But before I saw your reply, I just installed all new Windows 7 updates and I get no more BSODs in Ableton Live 10 Suite. However
I still get a big giant blue screen when I try to open Magix 2017 Premium. Also I am new to Ableton and still trying to learn it. It would be really good to turn back to Magix. So If some updates in Win7 fix the Ableton, do you have an idea to fix Magix?

(64 bit isn't a problem for me, I used Win7 64 bit for 3 years with the same specs. No BSODs, no errors.)

It all happend when I re-installed Win7.

Uninstall Magix, reboot PC then do a new install of Magix. See if that helps.

So yes I finally figured it out.

The problem was, I have x2 2GB RAMs, I was mixing around and the problem was my rams. I only changed their slots.

So thanks for helping me. I can finally turn back to Magix :D
