I wouldn't need 4x 16 PCI-e lanes though ,I must say I also would like to get a new AM3+ Boards but im not rushing for the first set im sure there will be more efficient designs later on

I have to say though you will be KING OF THE HILL once you get it going that's for sure

I really wanna go home and install it but setting it all up, cable management etc takes a long time. Then I have to do it all again in August when the BD chips are available.

I'm so tempted to just stay up all night and get it done. Cable management is a nightmare for me (I have 11 case fans) and I really wanna do it properly. Decisions decisions

I'm building also, but I'm holding off on a board since the chips are delayed till Aug/Sept.

I'm slightly concerned that the first series of chips will have such a short shelf life, I'd like some confirmation from AMD before I buy anything. I fear buying a chip soon, only to replace it come January when even higher clocked chips start shipping.

Maybe I'll just do it anyway and sell the first chip here, seems like a number of people want to build.

Anyway what type of memory did you order? I'm curious what you're gonna use, I'd like to know how these new memories work with present Ph II chips.
