Gmail server linking problem

Hi there

I use an invoice program called ezy invoice to send invoices to clients.
Up until now ive linked it to my gmail acc so i can check my 'sent' emails so its all under one roof as it were.

2 days ago i encountered a problem when trying to send an invoice via email.
When i try to send i get a pop-up saying

I sent this to ezy support and they could only offer me an alternative server [FONT=trebuchet ms, sans-serif]which wa[/FONT]s[FONT=trebuchet ms, sans-serif] Smtp2go which provides a free version for small volume, but no explanation as to why my gmail has suddenly started giving this error.
This is working fine but i would really like to use my own gmail acc as i have been for the last year or so, and wonder why now its just giving me this error.

Can anyone help at all with this please?

Not the only one reporting this

A few other users have also reported this to us since about 2 days ago so they must have made some changes. But the Gmail smtp server does NOT keep track of emails send from Ezy Invoice in your sent box. Only emails sent by Gmail will be in your sent box. Smtp2go on the other hand will have a professional dashboard that tracks all this for you and you can still use your own return address.

The part however isn't true about gmail not keeping track of emails in sent box as I'm looking at every email right now sent from ezy invoice

Yes I switched to smp2go, works just fine, u can use it free for up to 20 emails per day, if u send more then 20 a day you'll need to get the paid version but the free version is good and has a nice easy to use interface to keep track of sent invoices

Yes It's linked to my gmail acc so if the recipient replies it's sent to your gmail acc address

What port and settings are u using?

same before... port 587 , smtp.gmail.com

Do you have long time time use ezy invoices ??? , I use this to Ulphostery Bussiness in Puerto Rico.

Ahh thanks i had changed ports when it first stopped working to see if that was the problem.

All working now

Used it for about a year its really good and easy to use.

Hi,... Do you not have problem with the time when send invoice by email...???

Example...I send invoice at 2:00PM and in the gmail send folder the time indicate send at 10:00AM

No its pretty much instant, i always check gmail straight after i send the invoice to make sure it was sent and its there immediately.
