Can we see a pic?
If you're trying to bypass UEFI then it still has UEFI device listed second in boot priority which needs to be changed. Is that the HDD? Look for another HDD choice which isn't UEFI.
I see Optical Drive choice there on menu. What happens when you select it? Is there a DVD drive to set first?
Same for HDD is there a HDD to set second?
If no DVD drive set non-UEFI HDD first, try booting DVD drive from Boot Menu key at boot.
Make sure Secure Boot is turned off.
Try booting the HD Diagnostic CD or Partition Wizard CD which will self-boot to test and then Quick Wipe HD. This should make WIn7 DVD boot itself too. Make sure Secure Boot is disabled and (non-UEFI) HDD set first.
Are there other settings we've not seen? Some users have found strangely named settings that actually end up disabling UEFI, if not named Legacy BIOS.
yes and it does not help i still only have the option of booting one the hdd, one option only comes up.
The Win 7 x64 disc has not left the pc, so its in there buddyPost 54 screenshot 4, re-take with the Windows 7 x64 DVD in the DVD Drive.
Than the disc is non-readable.
Than the disc is non-readable.
No the disc works fine as I used it the otherday and installed Win 7 Ultimate on my Laptop
Its an official dvd I had with my last laptop, win 7 ultimate
The question is whether this is a retail copy of Win7 which came with a Product Key. In that case it can be reused. But if it came preinstalled on the laptop (rarely with Ultimate) then as an OEM copy with a COA sticker on machine it lives and dies with that PC's mobo.
Can you clarify this status for the Ultimate license? Does the DVD also contain SP1? It should say on it. Tell us everything it says on the disk.
Ok so I bought a new pc the other day it was delivered with Win 8 preinstalled 64 bit version, its a Packard bell Imedia. I've had a play about with it and I hate windows 8, that's why I have my windows 7 ultimate at hand ready to go on there...
You originally said the bundle came with Win8 but you wanted to replace that with Win7 Ultimate you had "at the ready." Are you now saying the Ultimate came with another bundle? What does it say on the disk? If it came bundled it likely has Builder's OEM license tied to the PC it was first installed upon.
