mods are causing crashes, uninstall gta4 and re-install.

Did you remove all the files in the directory? The scripthook.dll file is a modded file, not a file which is installed by default in the GTA directory.

So remove all files then re-install it all?

I found out it was a mod that I had installed. I deleted the while mod and now the game works fine

When the error c0000005 shows up means that when it tried to display text it would crash. Basically what c0000005 means. Anyways cool you fixed the problem,when installing mods it's a good idea to backup the folder were your going to install the files in and keep a clean backup of the files you replaced. I moded gta iv and gta sa along with vice city before and this is how I did it. Have tried many mods with gta games before,that's why i recognize that error.
