Had BSOD's. Reinstalled. Just got my first one again.

I made an old thread where I described my problems and troubleshooting efforts in extreme, extreme detail. You can read it here. While waiting for a response to this thread, I BSOD'd so many times that I simply had to reinstall to continue using my computer.

This worked fine and everything seemed perfect. Until now. My current install is pretty bare. I've installed only programs that are of absolute necessity for my computing uses.

I just got the problem again today, albeit it was one BSOD, not multiple ones, and my computer isn't slowing down like it used to. The code was along the lines of 0x00000007a give or take some 0's with a small reference to Ntfs.sys on the screen. I couldn't make out anything past that as it finished dumping and restarted. I'm coming here ASAP before this can progress any further. I don't want a repeat of how my computer used to be.

Before analyzing I knew it was hardware.
Memory is given as your cause.
Run for 8 passes.
Then test each stick in a good slot for 6 passes.
If you have dual channel, the results may be incorrect, if shows pass.

What software do you use to read dumps, blue screen?
I read the same report with much different results.

Alright, sweet, that was faster than I expected. I was hoping it was something like memory. That makes things easier. I'll get memtest on a usb stick asap.

Erm, as for what software I use to read dumps, I have none installed right now, so blue screen is the only one. I was using jcgriff and trying some tutorials I found here(I was out of my league and messed up with some symbol) before I reinstalled. If you took a look at that other thread's results, they might've been somewhat modified by jcgriff. That or one of the many Windows 7 updates not being installed is the cause of this error and the previous one has yet to happen to me.

About my memory, I do have dual channel sticks. The thing is, I bought (2 x 2gb) DDR2 dual channel sticks back when I built my computer. Sometime this year, most likely March or April, I installed another DDR2 2gb stick, except this one was from a different brand and I'm not sure if it's dual channel. It's the one I'm expecting to be faulty as I didn't do as much research before buying it. What kind of incorrect results would the dual channel sticks return? Also, does pairing them with a non-dual channel stick mean anything in terms of performance and durability? I actually forgot the specifics of my memory when I was upgrading so I didn't do the proper research in terms of full compatibility.

Not always but my experience with dual track is that it gives false negative.
NEVER, NEVER BUT NEVER MIX AND MATCH.
Every wrong result that I saw was a false negative.
