halo pc framerate issues!

In the Video Settings, try setting the frame rate to a constant 30 FPS. It sounds like you might be using VSYNC or something, which has varying frame rates.

Also, Halo doesn't work on Windows 7? I've used it perfectly on my Windows 7 PC.

well halo does works on windows 7 but it runs very slow, atleast on my windows 7 it runs slowy in some parts and it gets anoying.

That comment about Halo not working on Windows 7 was directed to Crispy, who posted a link saying that Halo was not compatible with Windows 7.

Also, I'm assuming that setting the frame rate to a constant 30 FPS didn't do anything?

Yeah, me to XD. Sometimes I fire Halo up just to play that level when I'm bored :P

But yeah, strange for it to be slow. Have you tried looking in Google for issues with Halo for your particular Graphic Card? It should be more than powerfull, yet sometimes games can have quarells with certain cards for no reason.

Think it ran like a dog for me when I had my 8800 cards as well. Was alright when I last played it on my 470, but try what was mentioned and set the fps to 30. I remember when I first started playing it there was problems with it over 30fps.
