Hey guys, the issue i'm having started a few months back. When I reboot or start up after being shut down the PC shows the Asus P6T screen where i can hit delete for setup, etc. On this screen it has been staying up for a good 1.5-2+minutes. This hasn't always been the case, only the past few months. I just performed a restore and performing a quick reformat for the drive and a fresh install of windows and this is still happening. Any suggestions? Not overclocked if that matters.

Below is the system info, copied and pasted from my profile page.

I've completed first item, clean boot and got same results. I have not yet tried malwarebytes. I'm wondering before I do so if it's needed when i have Kaspersky Internet Security. I have it doint a full scan every two days and because i've recently reinstalled windows it's found nothing.

If just installed probably not necessary. Malwarebytes does, however, find a lot that the others miss.

Yeah did you check this? One of my systems would do this whenever my Garmin watch was plugged into USB port during a reboot. I removed ALL USB devices and it booted up, then slowly added 1 back and reboot til I fouind culprit.

Lol this was the issue. I have 3 external drives, two 500gb and 1 1tb. I've never had issues but a few months back i picked up that 1tb. When it's unplugged it goes from hanging for 2+min to about 24seconds. Thanks guys, not sure why I didn't try this or notice this before. Thanks again!
