When I was away from work someone had to hard boot my comp (/facepalm), and ever since then I had this grid on my left screen that breaks it into 3 sections and automatically re-sizes anything I am attempting to move, unless I press 'Ctrl' every time. There's got to be a better way! I scoured through a lot of the computer setting i could look at for the past month, to no avail.. I have attached a picture I took with my phone, since if I took a screen shot, it would disappear the moment I touched 'Ctrl'.

I was hoping someone could shed a beautiful light on this very annoying problem!

Welcome to the Seven Forums
I'm not sure of the brand of your computer you have not filled out your system specs yet.
But it looks like Acer GridVista have a look at this page may explain it better Acer GridVista: snap your windows to pre-defined sections of your screen(s)
If you do not have a Acer you must have something equivalent to that in your model of computer.

Worked!

Thank you so much I was able to look around and fine it with that VERY helpful like! I'm sorry I couldn't provide any information on my system, usually my husband does all the computer stuff, and I only ever pick up a few things from when he's working on them.

My biggest problem was I didn't even know what it was called, so I had issues searching for solutions!

Thanks again!

I can now return to taking over the world!
