Solved Having bsods relating to ntoskrnl.exe+75c00

Because your RAM is not compatible with your motherboard, I think maybe
it is throwing off these errors.

Try the game, but I would suspect it will happen again, hopefully not.

Cheers

Your logs don't show anything definitive I'm afraid:

STOP 0x0000003B: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
Usual causes: System service, Device driver, graphics driver, ?memory

Which corsair RAM are you thinking of using? Specs?

I would replace the RAM before trying anything else as this will ensure
that the memory is not an issue and hopefully correct a lot of errors and stop your BSOD's.

The RAM installed is not supported by your motherboard, so I would say this could be what is
causing so many random errors, I may be wrong but that would fit the type of errors you
are experiencing.

Hope this helps

cheers

Dave

I'll give the system a good tryout Weds with the default bios optimized settings, if any memory management bsods/strange ones in windows i'll go order the Corsair, if they are none during the whole day i guess the ram may actually be fine just some settings were wrong in BIOS.

No worries, going bed too, heatwave is really annoying to sleep in!

No bsods for 2h last night, none earlier for 45min, none so far now for 30mins....after loading optimized default settings which changed like 10 things including some ram stuff.

I might just try games with latest Nvidia now because if it crashes i can know right away it's driver from the "nv" starting files, should i just do that? and if i get memory related bsods now then for sure the memory isn't good with board but should be ok now it seems.

Going to test some games out.(your driver is too old for sli and i know the cards work for sure....also the bios picks both cards up in each slot too so must be working fine aswell as device manager, fumark was fine too)

Well from what you say, the system seems more stable.

Perhaps it just needed the settings in the BIOS optimized and reset the timings correctly,
time will tell, and they did pass memtest...so hopefully.

The only way to be sure your free of crashes is to test the system and use it normally
as it seems more stable at this point, then if it performs without crashing, then
I would test with latest video drivers.

I would advise creating a restore point now, may save you a bit of time if things go South :)

Good luck.

cheers

Dave

Well i have several mates with beefy systems like this using 320.49 drivers zero crashes so think i will give them a go.

After so much bsods i am nervous loading up Borderlands 2 now.:p

Still no bsod tonight, been just over an hour so far.....the main thing i guess if the desktop has no bsods then the games should run very stable.(unless gfx driver installation has been messed up)

Nah that was 4 days or so ago but i had the issues still after the reinstall.(until i found out to change to optimized settings)

That was first bsod in 9h or so useage....so seems to be something minor, i heard 0x50 bug check code relates to a voltage setting too when using 16gb of ram.

Any ideas what the bsod was caused by? it says was caused by cng.sys in whocrashed app.

I will look through your logs momentarily, it just sounded like you had reinstalled again :)

A Bugcheck 0x50 relates to a PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA whereby the
requested data is not found in memory.

But your on the correct train of thought as error code for BSOD overclocking is this:

0x50 = RAM timings/Frequency or uncore multi unstable, increase RAM voltage or
adjust QPI/VTT, or lower uncore if you're higher than 2x

This is a method used to fine tune your voltage to correct settings:
(Courtesy of ESSENBE)

*THIS IS FOR SANDY BRIDGE / IVY BRIDGE ONLY*

1. Set ratio to 43 and tune voltage to 1.20 manual
2. Stress with :ar: Prime95 for 10 minutes
3a. If pass, bump ratio by 1
3b. If fail, increase voltage by a notch and re-test or lower ratio
4. If passed 15 minutes and happy with overclock, stress-test for 12 hours for stable confidence
5. If passed 15 minutes and unhappy with overclock, repeat steps 2 to 5
6a. If fail 12 hour Prime95 (Worker stopped, BSOD or any error), increase voltage by a notch and re-test

I will post any new findings.

Cheers

Dave

I think it may be a corrupted windows file....although if i did install one more time at least i know now stuff should be 100% fine as i be installing with optimized settings.I try some games now since before i do any reinstalls though to make sure they work fine unless there's a fix for it.
