Hello,
I Have a Problem With My Direct X Working For My Lenovo Thinkpad Labtop.
Specifically An Error Running Direct X Diagnostic. I Have been told this is major problem and Would Like To know If Someone would be able to assist me with this situation.

Attached is my SFC Scan Results from multiple scans I Have performed.

Also I have Seen A Similar Thread with someone who had the same problem and Was Helped By a User Named usasma. If Usasma would be able to help by answering this post or anyone else that knows whats going on could answer this it would be great.

here is the thread that had a similar problem to my situtation. http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-...ctx-not-working-affects-several-programs.html

Hello Rudabega, welcome aboard.

The log you uploaded contains four elements beyond repair, as I apparently found.

  • keymgr.dll ==> non system service
  • korwbrkr.dll ==> non system service
  • kerboros.dll ==> non system service
  • d3d11.dll ==> DirectX Direct3D 11
► For the non system services, I am not very sure which software originated those files in your registry. The best what you can to deal with those is to download and install CCleaner > Run it > Click on the registry tab > scan for issues > fix selected issues.

► For DirectX Direct3D 11, I would say that it is inbuilt in windows. So if SFC is unable to fix it when windows is running, try http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/139810-sfc-scannow-run-command-prompt-boot.html

► But, for your situation, I would suggest you that a http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html would be the best option.

Okay well I'm guessing repair install would be easiest because this is a brand new labtop and I don't have much saved. The only thing is for the repair install i dont have the disk for windows 7 I got my computer custom made from Lenovo and they pre installed it. Thanks for the prompt response. =)

Okay, So I Have the authorization key which i got from my computer properties and downloaded the windows 7. Now should I Copy The Windows 7 installation onto my 2GB USB I Have for the repair install or a blank disk or 2 ??

Also I Got CCleaner And cleaned up 156 things from my registery. I attempted to run sfc at boot but when i tried sfc /scannow in administrative command prompt from repair computer mode I only got the message "There is system repair pending which requires reboot to complete. Restart Windows and run sfc scan again." Afterwards I promptly restarted and tried again and got the same message. I tried it six more times to no avail.

Thanks for the help

Windows 7 iso will not fit into a 2 GB drive, you need at least 4 GB.

Or, you can burn it in a blank DVD, using ImgBurn.

Ok so I Have Performed the repair install up to The Disk cleanup stage. I'm holding off on it because some problems have risen that I need help With. First My Windows update is not working right, I tried updating windows right after Repair install and it said there was an error code 80240016. And error 66A. I believed this was strange so i looked up through windows help and they had nothing for the 8024 error but they did have one for the 66A. that error was specified as an error with .Net 4.0 installation which is what wouldn't install correctly, So i re-installed the updates without selecting any .net updates to see how that worked and that downloaded and installed fine. BUT after I restarted to configure my updates, Midway through the configuration my screen goes to the default load screen and i can't do anything, i can move the mouse but cannot right click or Ctrl Alt Delete. So I force shut down my Labtop. then I restarted my computer and it loaded fine, But when i got to my desktop it showed a warning saying that windows updates were not installed correctly >.< !!! The good thing though is that I ran an sfc scan and found no problems and I ran dxdiag completely fine.
I'm worried This windows update thing may be the problem behind all this because I had these same problems when I first started downloading Windows updates to my Computer when I first got it. I was able to work around it by Downloading one update at a time but That was when i got all those corrupt files that made me have to perform this repair install in the first place

Also sorry for the slow response, I've had a long week between work and school and getting sick and I have Not been able to Get time to perform the repair install.

thank you for all your time and Effort into my issue, it is very much appreciated.

Did you install any drivers from that came along with your laptop? Or windows update is acting up like this without any drivers/programs installed..? What antivirus are you using now? And don't download/install all update at once. Do 5 to 6 at a time and reboot whenever prompted.

Let me know your feedback

@koolkat
I think the drivers were already installed when I got it because windows 7 was and in my directions that came with it i got nothing saying i have to download any drivers. I have norton trial anti virus for 3 more days, And I tried the 5 or 6 at a time last time but there were errors and that's how I believe i got the corrupt system Files. Thank you though for Your response, I'm sorry i did not read it sooner, I have been busy between work and school.
